Straight answers.

Is this a government service?

No. It's an independent study aid, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any government or immigration authority. The official questions are public government material; everything around them is ours.

Can you advise me on my application?

No, and we won't pretend otherwise. This teaches the civics test. It doesn't advise on your case, prepare or submit any form, or take part in your interview. For that, speak to an immigration lawyer or an accredited representative.

Which version of the test applies to me?

For the United States, that depends on your Form N-400 filing date and the rules in effect for your application. Both live versions are included, and you can switch between them whenever you like — check which one applies to you with the authority handling your case.

Do the answers stay up to date?

Yes. A few questions ask who currently holds an office, and those change with elections and appointments. Each one is checked against the government's own records before every release.

Do I need an account?

Yes, including for the free part. It's how your progress follows you between devices, and how the one free practice test stays yours rather than resetting every time you clear your browser. We hold your email address, your progress, and whether you've paid. Nothing else.

Does the microphone listen to me?

No. Interview practice only speaks, using your browser or phone's built-in text-to-speech. The microphone is never accessed and no audio is recorded or sent anywhere.

Is the $9.99 a subscription?

No. It's a single payment, plus whatever tax your country charges. Nothing renews, and there's nothing to cancel. It's tied to your account, so signing in on another device brings it with you.

Do I need the app?

No. Everything runs in your browser, on a phone or a computer. An iPhone app is on the way, and Android after it. A purchase in the app and a purchase here are separate, because Apple handles its own payments — so buy in the place you plan to study.
